Piling has started at 22PS. The job is 30 piles and 17 columns. We put a tarpaulin canopy over the rig so the team can work in the shade. The mixing and pumping equipment is set up in the front yard.

Setting out at 22PS before piling starts. The surveyor is taking levels on site and again from the road at the front boundary. Noise barrier sheeting is up around the perimeter. Piling starts next week.

Reconstruct job in progress. Before we take anything down we work out what can be removed and how to remove it safely. We do it slowly so the debris stays on our side and does not fly across to the neighbours. Scaffold up, walls opened, brick cleared as we go.

Demolition and strip-out on job 22PS, getting the site ready for piling works. Roof covering came off to expose the timber and the structure, and the internal walls were taken down. Not a straightforward demolition. A lot of hurdles to solve before we could clear the ground.

This is the demolition stage of a landed reconstruction. We run skid tanks in and out to cart away the debris, usually eight to fifteen loads over the demolition. A noise monitoring device is set up on the hoarding to keep track of levels while we work.

Internal demolition underway on this job. We are stripping the interior back and hauling the rubble out by skid tank, lost count of how many we have filled. Next step is the external wall once the inside is cleared.

Site checked and cleared ahead of piling works. Floor slab has been broken out and the space stripped back to the bare structure. Beams, columns and the existing staircase are exposed so we can see what we are working with. Next step is preparing the ground for the piling.
